Sponsorship Agency brandmeetsbrand secures Bonterra Wines and Artemis Investment as festival sponsors for the 2011 Hampton Court Palace Festival
Tuesday 3rd May 2011 – Boutique Commercial Rights and Strategic Sponsorship Agency brandmeetsbrand is pleased to announce it has secured Bonterra Wines and Artemis Investment as festival sponsors for Hampton Court Palace Festival for its new client, events management company, PWR. PWR Events are bespoke producers of large scale public events at prestigious venues including Royal Parks and Historic Royal Palaces. Events include: Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, Hampton Court Palace and Tower of London Ice Rinks and Hampton Court Palace Festival.
“We are delighted that Bonterra Wines and Artemis Investment have come on board as festival sponsors for Hampton Court Palace Festival,” says PWR Director Jamie Wells.
“Hampton Court Palace Festival has been running for 18 years in the stunning open-air Base Court at Hampton Court Palace with world-class artists, a spectacular fireworks display and exquisite culinary experiences. As this is PWR’s first year as producers of this prestigious event, we are delighted that Karen and her team at brandmeetsband have secured Bonterra Wines and Artemis Investment as sponsors of this unique Festival in London’s calendar.”
This new sponsorship deal marks the third deal secured in just a few weeks for the brandmeetsbrand clients. Last month saw Saint Lucia jazz festival launch its sponsorship of Jazz FM’s Jazz Glide Home, which is broadcast live from the beautiful Caribbean isle. The Saint Lucia Jazz, (April 30th – May 8th), which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is a perfect brand fit for Jazz FM and the more specifically the Jazz Glide Home with music covering Jazz, R’n’B, Soul, Reggae and Calypso.
brandmeetsbrand continues it support for Jazz FM with another festival sponsor in the form of Cheltenham Jazz Festival, which runs from 27th April to 2nd May.
These new sponsorship deals represent the growing power of this small yet dynamic agency whose other clients include The Royal Shakespeare Company, London Serious Youth Violence Board and Travellers’ Tales for The Royal Geographical Society, SportAccord and X-Leisure to name but a few.
Last year brandmeetsbrand saw X-Leisure pull in a record year with incomes generating over £1.5m.
“Our mantra is owning the sales process,” says Karen Morris, Director brandmeetsbrand, “strategy comes as part of this but is not a stand alone piece of work. We create the strategy, the sales material and the sales process and are fully accountable for everything we do. This sets us apart.”
“For Jazz FM, one of our radio clients, we secured Southern comfort working closely with UM to create a whole new programme strand which went onto become one of the stations most popular and indeed award-winning programmes securing a Sony Silver in 2010 for Best Use of Branded Content. The key is to work closely with the programming team but to really listen to the client and their objectives and come up with a proposition that really delivers mutual benefit.”
“The FT Weekend sponsorship of Jazz FM’s breakfast show has now grown and has recently seen the launch of a new Friday show. Again worked closely with the programming team to create a tailored programme that incorporates the essence of the FT Weekend comment covering food, wine, culture and music.”
“For Sno!Zone a lot of our focus has been on building their brand partners and taking their rebrand as an opportunity to revisit old brands and approach new brands with some innovative joint marketing initiatives around events.”
It is this tailored approach to sponsorship, which has seen brandmeetsbrand steadily carve a niche in the market. And for PWR Events – Karen and her dedicated team are already handpicking the perfect brands to shine a light on their well-loved venues.

About brandmeetsbrand:
brandmeetsbrand was set up by Director Karen Morris in 2003. Morris, who already had almost 15 years of experience working in media sales and sponsorship, spotted a gap in the market for a boutique agency able to shape creative deals and bring brands together to build mutually beneficial partnerships. brandmeetsbrand has since enjoyed considerable success, thanks to its ability to respond to the specific and evolving needs of its clients, helping businesses to maximise the commercial potential of their assets through bespoke sponsorship deals and partnership.
